Which size to choose for your women's tango shoes / follower / heels?

Lalatango offers its shoes in full and half sizes (and even very large sizes) to allow your shoes to fit your feet perfectly.
If your feet are wide, this gives you the possibility of choosing half a size larger in order to benefit from a greater width without having the feeling of wearing shoes that are too long (which is undoubtedly the case when you do not have no other choice than to take a size larger than yours so as not to feel cramped…).

To choose your shoe size, we suggest you proceed as follows:
First, check your theoretical size, then deduce your Lalatango size (which may be different).

1) Checking your theoretical shoe size

Measure the length of your feet (or your longest foot, if there is a slight difference between the two) as follows:

Place an A4 sheet of paper on the floor against a wall, with the short side against the wall. Barefoot, stand with your back to the wall and place your largest foot on the sheet, your heel resting against the wall. Mark with a line the limit of the longest toe. Then measure on the sheet the length between the short side of the sheet and this line.

Check your size in the table below. Please note, this is your theoretical size*, not necessarily the size you will choose to place your order. Read on (below the table) to make your choice.

* French size, for closed shoes (may be different for open shoes). Please note that there is no standard for sizes. This is why we sometimes tend to lose our Latin...

2) Your size in Lalatango

Normally, you know from experience whether you have a narrow or wide foot (if you don't know, then it's very likely that you have a "normal" foot). Here is how to choose your Lalatango size, depending on the morphology of your feet:

Thin feet:

For models with an open back (Uno/Sentimental/Salomé/Aire/Sencillo/Libre/Gloria models): take one size smaller than your "theoretical size" (which is your size calculated above)
For Flor or Picaflor models: avoid suede, and take half a size less than your "theoretical size" (which is your size calculated above)
For the Croisé or Coco models: take half a size less than your "theoretical size" (which is your size calculated above). The Croisé model adapts well to different foot widths thanks to the 2 adjustable straps, however if you have a really very thin foot, avoid this model which may not suit you.

Normal feet:

For models with an open back (Uno/Sentimental/Salomé/AireSencillo/Libre/Gloria models): take half a size less than your "theoretical size" (which is your size calculated above)
For models with a closed back (Flor, Picaflor, Coco or Croisé): take your "theoretical size" (which is your size calculated above)

Wide feet:

Suede accommodates wide feet well.
Prefer the Croisé, Gloria, Coco and Salomé models, which adapt well to large widths.
Take your "theoretical size" (which is your size calculated above), but if your foot is really strong, prefer a Croisé or a Gloria model and take half a size larger.
