Which size to choose for your women's tango shoes / follower / heels?
Lalatango offers you its shoes in sizes and half sizes (and even in very large sizes) in order to allow the perfect adjustment of your shoes to your feet.
If your feet are wide, this gives you the option of choosing a half size larger in order to benefit from greater width without having the feeling of wearing shoes that are too long (which is probably the case when you don't have no choice but to take a size above yours so as not to feel cramped…).
To choose the size of your shoes, we suggest you proceed as follows:
First, check your theoretical shoe size, then deduce your Lalatango shoe size (which may be different).
1) Verification of your theoretical shoe size
Measure the length of your feet (or your longest foot, if there is a slight difference between the two) as follows:
Place an A4 sheet on the floor against a wall. Barefoot, stand with your back to the wall and place your larger foot on the sheet, your heel resting against the wall. Mark with a line the limit of the longest toe. Then measure on the sheet the length in cm between heel and this line.
Check the table below for your shoe size. Please note, this is your French size * , not necessarily the size you will choose to place your order. Read on to make your choice.
* theoretical size, and for closed shoes (the length used is therefore theoretically different for open shoes). You should also know that there is no standard imposed for sizes. This is the reason why we sometimes tend to lose our Latin...

2) Your shoe size in Lalatango
Normally, you know from experience if you have a narrow or wide foot (if you don't know, then it's very likely that you have a "normal" foot). Here is how to choose your Lalatango size, according to the morphology of your feet:
Slender feet:
For models with an open back (Uno/Sentimental/Salomé/Aire/Sencillo/Libre models): take one size less than your calculated size (which is your calculated size above)
For Flor or Picaflor models: prefer smooth leathers, and take half a size less than your calculated size (which is your calculated size above)
For Cross models: take half a size less than your calculated size (which is your calculated size above). The Crossed model adapts well to different foot widths thanks to the 2 adjustable straps, however if you have a very thin foot, avoid this model which may not suit you.
Normal feet:
For models with an open back (Uno/Sentimental/Salomé/AireSencillo/Libre models): take half a size less than your calculated size (which is your calculated size above)
For models with a closed back (Flor, Picaflor or Croisé): take your calculated size (which is your calculated size above)
Wide feet:
Prefer the Croisé and Salomé models, which adapt well to different widths.
The front cutout of the Flor model also makes it a good candidate for wide feet, provided you do not take a smooth leather model.
Take your calculated size above, but if your foot is really strong, take a half size up.
