Who are we ?

After having acquired solid experience in the industry as an engineer, Clotilde decided in 2008 to turn her career around and embark on entrepreneurship. Driven by her values and an irresistible taste for challenges, she created an ethical business distributing fair trade crafts.

A passionate Argentine tango dancer, she increasingly suffered from joint pain in her feet. In 2012, when this pain forced her to slow down, she decided to take on the challenge of creating a French brand of comfortable Argentine tango shoes that met the needs of dancers. She understood their demands in terms of comfort, stability, and style!

Surrounding herself with professionals in the field, Clotilde then set out to discover the fascinating world of shoemaking.
She knows that she must bring real added value in order to stand out from the competition, so she takes advantage of her past as an engineer and launches out in all directions in search of innovative and promising techniques and materials in order to improve the comfort and durability of the shoe.

After a long period of development and testing, the Lalatango brand finally saw the light of day in 2018!

Popular with dancers, the brand quickly expanded into leader shoes (men/women) and city and wedding shoes.
